As a native of Colorado, I have always exhibited a knack for exploring the grand, yet unknown environment around me. This philosophy has provided me with both disappointment and success, but from these lessons, I have gained humanity’s greatest gift: perspective. Whether it is perspective pertaining to the lives of those around me, or how grand-scale approaches to impending problems affect the individuals of society, living is learning through the lens of others. In turn, idealizing the philosophy of “Paying it Forward” means believing in the strength of the community around me. As I pursue higher education and gain a deeper understanding of myself and the world around me, I hope to incite powerful change to brighten and help my community.
