Hi, my name is Joe Steele. I’m from the Denver suburbs, and I’ve wanted to go to Mines since I was little. Becoming a student here has been a dream come true. I’m a computer science major, and I hope to use my skill set to help people in developing countries further integrate into the global economy. In my free time, I like to practice archery, exercise, and spend time with friends. Being a Harvey Scholar has been an enormous blessing, and I can’t wait to pay it forward!
