Hi, I am Gabriella Sias, and I grew up 15 min from Mines. True to my birthplace I love everything outdoors from skiing, to mountain biking! When I was four I announced I wanted to be a pediatric neurosurgeon! I said that mostly because the words sounded funny in my ears! But that statement propelled me into a flurry of STEM activities and camps… including several at Mines! As it turned out, I loved every bit of it. Today biology and physics are my top favorite subjects. What started as a funny word in a four year old’s mind, is now my passion, path and calling. I hope to continue from Mines to med school — to find opportunity to pay it forward and serve. I am eternally grateful to The Harvey Family for the chance to be part of this exceptional community and allowing me to chase my passion and dreams.
