I came to Golden as a hopeful yet timid freshman with the world ahead of me, but with little idea of what I wanted to do or be. Now, I can say Mines has truly been a gift to me. It truly is the blend of everything that I enjoy and find fulfillment in: math, outdoor activities and good company. I would not be the man I am today without the gifts that Mines, and especially the Harvey’s have given me. My college complements who I am while it helps shape me into the person I wish to become.
