I am a senior majoring in computer science with a specialty in robotics & intelligent systems. While I was born in Okemos, Michigan, I primarily grew up in nearby Littleton, Colorado. I worked as a Software Development Intern for Ricoh Production Print in Boulder this past summer, a very rewarding experience which has helped me decide what kind of software development I want to forge a career in. The machine learning and artificial intelligence pieces of my major are what particularly interest me, and I also hope to find a way to advocate the integration of cryptocurrency into the modern global economy. Additionally, I want to “pay it forward” by facilitating and advocating the free flow of information and open source software. I believe that such tools and knowledge are the best things I can give back to my community. The Harvey’s generosity is helping me achieve these goals, which otherwise would not have been possible for me.
