Hey! My name is Rowan Michaels and I am from Golden. I am majoring in Quantitative Biosciences and Engineering so that I can hopefully go into the healthcare field, whether that means being a doctor or running clinical trials. You might catch me playing the guitar or climbing in my free time. I was drawn to the Harvey Scholarship program because of the focus on community service and paying it forward. I volunteer on a crisis hotline regularly so helping my community is really important to me. I am so grateful for the opportunity that the Harvey Scholarship program has provided me, as it’s given me such an amazing community and allowed me to get the STEM education I’ve always wanted.
