Hi! My name is Lauren Quinn. I am originally from Louisiana but have lived all over the United States and in Germany. I moved to Colorado before my junior year of high school, and this was when I learned about Mines. With the proximity to the mountains, excellent academics, and very generous Harvey scholarship, Mines was a no-brainer! I have always wanted to be an engineer, so I am excited to study mechanical engineering at Mines, perhaps with a minor in computer science. Outside of school, I enjoy skiing, hiking, sewing, and crafting. I am very excited to be at Mines and am very grateful for the opportunities the Harvey Scholarship has provided me!
