I love the small size of Mines which really helps encourage students to get involved in a wide array of activities. Since coming to Mines, I have been a part of the student newspaper, the Society of Women Engineers and the McBride Honors program. I have also really enjoyed taking a leadership role within the Harvey Scholarship Program and, in the process, getting to know all of my fellow Harvey Scholars. Over the past three years, I have witnessed the growth of the program and the development of a unique community of scholars. Outside of school, I have spent time tutoring, interning with a Senator and getting outdoors as much as possible. Coming to Mines has enabled me to pursue a world class education while also exploring various other interests outside of school.
