I am from Foley, Minnesota, and I came to Mines because of the incredible research opportunities available for undergraduates. I am double majoring in chemical engineering and chemistry with an honors minor in public affairs. Energy research, particularly energy conversion and storage, is my passion and I hope to use my degree after I graduate to work in a research facility to try and add to a solution for the energy crisis our world is facing.
In addition to my school work, I love to read all sorts of books and listen to all kinds of music. I want to travel around the world, to see all I can see and meet different people. On campus, I am involved in the Society of Women Engineers, the student chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and I spend time tutoring math at a middle school in Denver. My favorite thing is to try new things, so if you see me around campus and you feel like going on an adventure, hit me up.
