I knew I wanted to be an engineer because I want to change the world. I’m from Chicago originally, but moved out here and haven’t looked back. I am currently studying computer science with a minor in business and entrepreneurship. On campus, I am a University Innovation Fellow, which means I am working to encourage innovation, entrepreneurship & creativity on campus. To me, paying it forward means working to always better the community in which you are in. I am working to change campus culture through a number of outlets. Being a Harvey scholar has already given me the opportunity to study abroad once in my time here, and I am currently planning my second adventure. I am so grateful for the opportunities that have been opened to me through this scholarship.
