I was very excited for the opportunity to come to Mines and join one of the best academic communities in the country. My current focus is on environmental engineering, and I also am planning on staying for my masters in hydrology. In addition to being a Harvey Scholar, I am also part of the McBride Honors Program. I know Mines will provide me with the greatest opportunities possible to make a difference in our world. During my time here, I have become very involved at Mines. I work in the Student Activity, Involvement, and Leadership Office, I am on the Mines Activities Council as the Homecoming Chair and I am on the executive board for my sorority, Pi Beta Phi. I have enjoyed opportunities to volunteer in the greater community and to spend time exploring Golden and Denver. I have taken multiple international service trips to Nepal with Hike for Help, which is one of my biggest passions.
