Hello there! I am a Senior in Computer Science and am living my wildest academic, personal and spiritual dream at Mines! Ever since my first day here, the rigor of education and sense of community has surpassed my expectations ten-fold. Mines inspires me to be the best engineer, friend, teammate, coworker, supporter, mentor and student I can be! I am specifically enjoying intertwining my passions for computer science and the humanities in an environment which fosters such interdisciplinary work. One hour of the day I could be developing code, the next writing poetry, and the next jamming on the piano… quite exhilarating!

The Harvey Scholars community has been integral to my journey at Mines. The spirit for service in the scholar body is constantly teaching me just how many ways there are to pay it forward. Hugh and Michelle have planted an important seed and I am extremely grateful to be a part of such an amazing program as it grows!

At Mines, I am involved with the Computer Science Department, the Marketing and Communications Department, the McBride Honors Program, O-STEM, and have previously served on the Harvey Scholars Board as the Communications Coordinator. This year, I am also heading up the 10th Anniversary video committee to produce a video to commemorate 10 amazing years of the Harvey Scholarship Program!
