Hello! I came to Mines from southern Califonia and absolutely love how different it is from home. The leaves change colors and there’s snow and it has this small little town called Golden where I’ve been able to enjoy the past few years here. My name is Ronald and I’m in my 5th year studying Computer Science (Data Science Track) and Economics. I originally never thought that I’d find myself studying within these fields, but after being given the ability to be flexible with 5 years of study, I was able to find things I truly loved to learn about and study. Along with that, I was also able to spend time learning about and taking part in different hobbies. There are so many people out here who are all from different backgrounds with different experiences and things that they love to do – you’d be able to find someone or even a group of people who know something about it. Mines has been an amazing place to learn about the math and sciences as well as the world around you.
