I decided to attend Colorado School of Mines because I knew I wanted to be an engineer and play soccer at a high level. Mines provided me with both of these opportunities and so much more. The education I have received thus far has been priceless. The professors here are amazing, I have even become friends with many of my professors. Soccer has given me some of the best friends I have ever had, as well as the chance to be on a team that is nationally ranked. The campus is beautiful and Golden is a very safe, small town that is close to Denver, so you get the best of both worlds. I have learned a lot about life and have matured in the last few years while still having a blast. There is so much that I have experienced here at Mines. It has proved to be the perfect college and place for me. I could not think of somewhere else I would rather be for these precious years of my life. I am having the time of my life!
