I love attending Mines. During my senior year in high school my physics teacher inspired me to become an engineer, citing my knack for physics. He actually graduated from Mines, and honored me with a recommendation for a small scholarship at Mines. When I saw the campus, I knew it was perfect. It is small enough that I was able to quickly learn my way around without ever getting lost, the nearby mountains provide an escape from the stress of schoolwork and the creek that runs through the city also provides a relaxing atmosphere that helps me clear my head. The people at Mines are so kind; they understand the struggles of going to a rigorous engineering school and provide great advice about teachers or exams.
