Hi! My name is Cate and I use they/them/theirs pronouns. I am from Denver, Colorado and I am majoring in Quantitative Biosciences and Engineering (QBE). In addition to taking classes full-time, I also work as a Resident Advisor on campus and part-time in an Environmental Chemistry Laboratory. When I have free time, I like to travel, volunteer, and knit/crochet. In high school, I volunteered in multiple positions at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. Currently, I volunteer at the Rocky Mountain House Rabbit Rescue and as a Keeper Assistant at the Denver Zoo. I have visited all 50 US states, 20 countries, and 10 US national parks. After graduation, I plan to pursue my masters in QBE at Mines and join the Peace Corps or volunteer in wildlife conservation.
