Jasmeen is a Colorado Native from just outside Denver who is headed to Colorado School of Mines to study Computer Science and specialize in Data Science! As a Mines Student, she wishes to pursue her academic interests in a unique and refreshing way where she is able to learn lifelong skills and forge new connections. Within the Harvey Scholar Community, she also hopes to make a positive difference in the lives of others where everlasting memories can be created and maintained. She loves listening to music, being with family, spending quality time with friends, and indulging in new experiences! Ultimately, one fun fact is that she is fluent in reading and writing Punjabi, a Northern Indian Language, and loves to be immersed within her culture whether it be teaching Punjabi lessons, participating in dance competitions, or playing traditional instruments like the harmonium! She is beyond blessed and excited to be at Mines and start a journey filled with new understandings, knowledge, and community!!
