Cate Corry

Hello! My name is Cate and I use they/them pronouns. I am from Denver, CO and I attended Kent Denver for high school. I am currently pursuing my B.S. in biosciences (QBE) and plan to complete my Master’s in QBE at Mines as well. After graduation, I hope to pursue a Ph.D. in zoology or a DVM with the goal to work in wildlife conservation. I work part-time on campus as a resident advisor and as a lab assistant in an environmental chemistry lab. I also volunteer at the Denver Zoo as a primate keeper assistant. This past summer, I completed an internship at the Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Longmont where I worked to rehabilitate and release injured and sick songbirds. I currently serve on the Harvey Board as the Service Director because I wanted to give back to the community that has done so much for me. The Harvey scholarship has allowed me to pursue my goals in a way that I never expected.
